The Whitney E. Houston Academy Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society has been a part of the Houston Family for about 10 years.  We began our first chapter with only 7 students.  The criteria for membership is that each student must be at least a 3rd quarter 6th grader.  The students must have maintained at least a B+ average for the first three quarters of the school year.

This year the Whitney E. Houston Academy Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society has a group of dynamic inductees.  We are planning a great deal of exciting activities to promote their leadership potential, their outstanding citizenship, their impeccable character, and their dedicated community service while they maintain high scholastica ability.

Watch for the Whitney E. Houston Academy Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society every Monday as they display their pride in being inducted into this worthy organization by wearing the NJHS t-shirts.  They are being challenged to think outside the box this school year with new and innovative programs to boost school spirit.
