Greetings Houston Family!

 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! The entire Houston staff has missed you. We hope you enjoyed a safe and restful summer, and we are looking forward to a productive partnership to ensure all scholars will achieve their greatest potential. As administrators, we are committed to provide rigorous instruction and leadership opportunities for all students. Our goal is to further implement the Leader in Me program for staff and students with the realization of knowing the Leader in Me Pledge and utilizing the principles of 7 Habits on a daily basis.  Every scholar will be expected to take an active part in developing leadership roles throughout the course of their educational journey. Houston Academy thrives on making the most out of every school day. In order to continue our successful path, we would like all families to understand that all scholars are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is conducive to enhancing the educational experience. Houston Academy's expectations are for all scholars to be positive role models for each other.

 

We are extremely happy with the strides we have made with our NJSLA Spring 2024 scores.  Houston continues to make good academic growth but we continue to strive for standards mastery at each grade level for every scholar.  In order to achieve this measure of progress, we must build better relationships and work collaboratively. Collectively, we encompass a wealth of knowledge and should maximize our talents, resources, and capabilities.
