Greetings Houston Family!

 

We are halfway through the 2023-2024 school year, the Whitney E. Houston Academy would like to say THANK YOU! Thank you for all you do! With your assistance and perseverance, we continue to show academic growth. It is the commitment by all Houston Academy Staff to work diligently to ensure the safety and educational needs of all students are met. Our PTO continues to support all school programs through their tireless volunteer efforts and financial support of school activities. For the 2023-2024 school year one of our major focuses is attendance. To ensure students obtain the necessary 21^st century skills it is necessary students understand the importance of punctuality and attendance. Whitney Houston E. Academy is a Leader in Me school and we encourage everyone to live the 7 Habits. You can look forward to seeing environmental changes as well as our staff and students speaking the 7 Habits. Leader in Me will be embedded into the everyday culture at Whitney Houston Academy.

 

We would like to thank our hard working and caring faculty and staff who have made a huge difference to our students. Your commitment is outstanding, and our scholars are the beneficiaries. Thank you for providing rich and engaging, well-rounded experiences for our scholars and understanding that education is about fostering curiosity, along with the development of social skills which are needed to succeed. For these, and a million other things, we are truly grateful.
