Music - Instrumental

Instrumental Music will offer large and small group lessons primarily on band instruments such as flute, clarinet, trumpet and trombone. Learning a secondary instrument is available on a first come, first serve basis. Students in Instrumental Music will also learn music notation, practice techniques, and proper care of their chosen instrument. 

Instrumental Music students stay for 10th period, which is from 2:40pm-3:20pm. However, each student has an assigned day to attend chosen by instrument. This allows us to work in small groups. If your middle school aged child is responsible for a younger child, the younger child may stay in the room. They are welcome as long as they are respectful.

Instrumental Music follows the following criteria:

• Arrive on time to class
• Be ready to learn and participate                       
• Use your assigned instrument and use it properly
• Parent/Guardian is responsible for damaged instrument/equipment
• Attend all Performances
